My Story:

My first experience ended in tears, I couldn't understand why it was so difficult to meditate.

My mind was constantly distracted, my foot fell asleep and I suffered from anxiety.

However, after I conquered the ability to sit still in meditation, my mind started to quiet, my anxiety dissipated and my reactions to difficult situations reduced dramatically.

Why meditation matters

Forget the yogi on the mountaintop! Think of meditation as another tool in your toolkit.

There is no right way or wrong way to meditate. There is no goal or state we are trying to achieve. 

We are merely gifting ourselves the time and intention to be in silence.

Each of the four categories can be used at different times, for different needs, throughout our lives. Once we know the techniques we can shift into them as needed to create: Calm, Focus, Energy, Bliss.

Practice this in moderation; too much is not healthy and shorter timing is more beneficial.
